Using refurbished exercise equipment or reconditioned exercise equipment, is a great way to get better quality pieces at much more affordable prices. For example, it can make a club quality treadmill (commercial grade) available at a home gym equipment price.
That's huge. Commercial equipment is better made, and will require little maintenance. The drawbacks are; they cost more, usually weigh more and take up more space.
Refurbished or reconditioned equipment is usually gym equipment that has been rebuilt.
So, it's as good as new internally but isn't new anymore chronologically. But you'll be able to buy it 50% what a new one costs.
My advice is go to the vendor below, and browse through the equipment available. If you need to expand your own home gym, you DEFINATELY want to "browse" and take a look around.
More advice? Ok. Go with Icarian for a sure bet, but all they have listed are solid.
